The maiden Lagaip District Development Authority (LDDA) District Procurement Committee was officially sworn into office in Port Moresby this afternoon.
Executive Officer to the Lagaip Open MP Steven Moses Mase highlighted the final process of establishing the administration team before starting work in the newly created Lagaip District was the establishment of the LDDA District Procurement Commission.
“The long awaited establishment of the District Procurement Commission is now done,” Mase announced.
Members of the Lagaip District Development Authority District Procurement Commission sworn in were the LDDA CEO George Puio, District Finance Manager Petrus Mathias, Law and Order Representative George Iki, Women’s Representative Kessy Benny and Community Representative Isaiah Kaipun.
