The Galaxy Gladiators Lantau celebrated their maiden 8 wicket victory in the DTC Hong Kong T20 Blitz, against Hong Kong Island, on Friday.
And at the forefront was PNGs very own, Hebou PNG Barramundis Captain, Assad Vala, who took out two wickets that helped the Gladiators bring the victory home.
Outside of his comfort zone and without a bat, PNG’S leading batsman, Vala was not as bad at bowling as the first partnership of the top order was taken out by two impressing bowls from him.
The tournament is amidst its finals and the tournament should be concluded in a few hours’ time.
