Despite today’s blistering heat, the Port Moresby ITI Cricket competition saw cricket teams put on a committed display of bowling and batting.
Up to 8 teams from under 19s, to the premiers played with T20 overs for each team.
The highlight of the day was Young Cricket Star, Riley Hekare, who put in a tremendous effort to score some great runs.

In the premier division, Badili hardware Wonderers played against The KCC from Kilakila. These Two teams showed some great action on the field
The tournament saw some terrific action, with great bowling and batting tactics displayed by the two teams.
Top scorer Lega Tau for Badili Hardware Wonderers made 31 runs while Captain Heni Siak made 22runs. The teams played well while defending every opportunity while aiming to hit and bat.
PNG Cricket young star Riley Hekare, 19 year old who represented PNG in the world cup Qualifier in Dubai this year, also made 22 runs for his team.
