PNGDF Commander: No Comments onKapris Aid

Over two weeks have passed sincethe deaths of WilliamKapris and Raphael Walimini.

 

While it closedthe curtain onthe manhunt for Papua New Guinea infamous criminal, it also revealed how he was aided by members ofthe disciplinary forces.

A servin PNGDF soldier was arrested along with four thers whenthey were escorting bothKapris and Walimini. Sincethen,the Defence Force has been quiet aboutthe revelation.

 

Addressingthe media on Thursday, Commander Agwi said he would not comment onthe arrest ofthe serving soldier.

 

“I leave that tothe police to investigate. They havetheir investigation going on and it will be wrong for me to comment againsttheir current investigation,” said Agwi.
 

He said he his Chief of Staff Captain Tom Urr will make announcements onthe particular issue.

 

Also, investigations intothe Medical Faculty Campus attack two weeks ago have been completed and a statement will be made soon.
