Over 67,500 Grade 10 students in Papua New Guinea have completed their Mathematics and Personal Development examinations today.
They will sit the Social Science paper tomorrow.
The Grade 10 National Exams begins today and will conclude this Friday.
In Port Moresby at least 10 Secondary Schools completed the first two papers today.
Mathematics in the morning and Personal Development in the afternoon.
We visited St Charles Lwanga at Gerehu Stage Two were students were into the final hour of their exams.
St Charles is a Catholic run school.
It was once a Vocational Centre but converted to a Secondary School because of the increase in student population continuing to Grades Nine and Ten.
It is one of the only two government schools in the Gerehu area.
The School has close to a thousand students from which, 208 are grade 10.
Examinations commenced at 8:25 in the morning and concluded at 11:25.
The exams are supervised by two external invigilators from Gerehu Secondary.
