The Captain of the Australian Kangaroos, Cameron Smith was disappointed over the sudden move by the Cronulla Sharks Forward Andrew Fifita to the Tongan National Team for the Rugby League World Cup.
The selection for the Tongan to don the Kangaroos jersey was done last Thursday.
Smith pointed out that Fifita had a good year to decide on the decision before making the rash decision at the last minute.
Though Smith is not closed off on the idea of having Fifita back in Green and Gold if the Tongan wishes to.
While respecting his decision to move over, Smith still appeared miffed on the prospect of Fifita playing for his Island roots.
