It was once a Vocational Centre but converted to a Secondary School because of the increase in student population continuing to Grades Nine and Ten.

It is one of the only two government schools in the Gerehu area.

The School has close to a thousand students from which, 208 are grade 10.

Examinations commenced at 8:25 in the morning and concluded at 11:25.
