While competition continues to increase across many social media networking sites, Facebook has taken a step forward to expand its services for its users. The company has introduced a new feature for its users – the Profile Video.
The feature has exciting potential that can best improve the outlook of your profile on your Facebook account.
The feature enables the user to:
- Film a short video and set this as his or her profile. The video will play for anyone who goes and checks your profile
- Set a profile picture that backs a particular cause or other activity pictures such as holidays, out of office style pictures or birthday celebrations
- Also, the updates see the introduction of easier control over what others see on your page with customisable space at the top of your profile
Apart from the given potentials, the new feature also allows the user to write a Twitter-style bio, with details describing his or her education and work to appear at the top of their profile. Five featured photos go together to the top of the profile.
The feature is at the moment in testing stage in the UK and should be out for users once it has been authorised for use.
