Trove’ For Your 3D Printed Jewelry

by Marie Kauna – EMTV Online, Port Moresby

Have you often wondered about designing your own jewellery and get them printed using metals of your own choosing? Here’s what Brian Park, a product manager at Zynga, has come up with in regards to making ways easier for consumers to customise their own products – it’s called Trove.

Trove allows you to design your jewelries on plastic version before you order the jewelries to be printed in precious metals of your choosing.

The site hosts 25 base models per category, bracelets and rings alike, and lets users select customised options from the provided slider tool.

The designs allow you to bend, stretch or create new aspects of the pieces of the jewelry into creating your own.

It also allows you to view other people’s designs, save, update or you can even purchase the ones you like.

When you are unsure of your design or would like to test a preferred piece before purchasing, Trove will send you a plastic copy, allowing you to edit your design and later purchase in materials ranging from bronze to 18K gold.

Prices of your jewelries will be based on the design ranging from $60 for a bronze ring to over $3,000 for an 18K gold bracelet.

Trove will help you discover, personalise, connect and create your own jewelry.
