Music legend David Bowie left his wife Iman and his two children with estates worth millions of dollars.
Bowie passed away earlier this month, just two days after his 69th birthday.
The legendary singer’s Facebook page posted the tragic news posting, ” David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer.”
The statement continued, “While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief.”
According to the New York Post a will was filed in court on Friday in Manhattan, where his wife Iman gets the couple’s home on Lafayette Street in Manhattan and his half of a hundred million dollar estate while the daughter receives is Ulster Country home in New York and will split the remaining of Bowie’s Fortune with his son from a previous relationship, Duncan Jones.
Bowie also gave $2 million to his friend and personal assistant, Corinne Coco Schwab, and $1 million to his son’s former nanny.
Additionally, the will allegedly states that the late musician’s dying wish was to have his ashes scattered on the island nation of Bali in accordance with Buddhist rituals.
