Former Opal and member ofthe bronze medal Australian Womenrsquo;s Basketball team Annie La’fleur (Laf-law) continued imparting her knowledge to young children atthe Sir John Guise Stadium today.
Basketball has slowly but continuously gained momentum overthe years and with an ongoing junior development program, more youngsters are showing interest.
Annie La’Fleur isthe zone development manager for FIBe Oceania.
La’Fleur leftthe Hohola suburb in Port Moresby atthe age of nine to reside in Sydney and went on to play for the Australian Opals.
She is back inthe country to conduct coaching clinics for players and referees, withthe senior men and women that started today.
