PNG Monier Pukpuks were out in full force atthe Port Moresby General Hospital doing community service.
It is part oftheInternational Rugby Beard Legacy program as a lead up tothe FORU cup
The team assembled in front ofthe hospital and was divided into two groups.
One group cleanedthe interior part ofthe hospital whilethe ther group took tothe streets, collecting rubbish.
This is part ofthe team’s community service program to involve players interacting withthe community and support in what little waysthey can.
The team is set to defendthe FORU cup title this Saturday against Solomon Island hunters who arrived inthe country on Monday.
Preparations are in order and obvious through appearance and physical gestures shown by players.
Mr Rapila noted support from Monier and Air Niugini. He says this flagged upthe teams moral to go futher. Fans and Supporters are welcome to come and supportthe team on Saturday atthe PRL grounds.
