64 Graduate from Legal Training Institute

This week saw for the first time, Legal Training Institute (LTI) graduated 64 trainees in a span of 6 months with flying colors.

Over half of the graduates received certificates of excellence and awards.

Today saw the trainees admitted to the bar at the National Court House to finally become permitted practicing lawyers.

This year was very different, as the trainees had to complete 24 courses and seven models in a span of six months.

Chief Justice, Sir Salamo Injia, in his keynote address challenged the trainees to work in honesty, and reminded them of what the law is.

Female student Rep, Belinda Poki challenged her fellow graduands to have a good attitude as it will determine their success in the workforce.

Frank Samui, one of the 7 Solomon Islanders, was very emotional.

Mr. Poki, whose daughter graduated today, shared how proud he was to see all these students finally completing the training.
