by Eric Haurupma – EM TV News, Port Moresby

With only hours before the New Year, Port Moresby residents are already prepared with their New Year resolutions.

Port Moresby residents were more than eager to disclose their resolutions on camera.  Here’s what these Port Moresby residents had to say about their life in 2016.

Mrs Norma Yagro, a Gerehu resident said 2016 is the year of change which comes with fortune and pride.

“I will have to be persistent with my attendance to church services and avoid doing things that is not right,” she said.

Other residents, Christine Martin and Neni Qua, said they will quit from chewing betelnut; while James Martin, Jonah Aua and Hape John have promised to refrain from consuming alcohol.

Nicholas Yawiningi said he will study hard to become somebody in the future as a token of appreciation to his parents.
