The Port Moresby Rugby League Competition heads into round nine ofthe competition withPNG Ports Bethersleadingthe pack.
The competition has attracted sixteen teams and is an avenue for aspiring players intothe semi-professional Digicel Cup Competition.

The win did little to improverthe team’s standing inthe competition ladder. They are last inthe 16 team competition.
Pumas, Souths and Magani closedthe top eight while Bethers Hawks and Dobo Warriors sat on top ofthe ladder. Betterflies are in fifth position.
Early this year, Vice Sport Minister Labi Amaiu presented K50, 000 for the competition. K30, 000 went tothe men’s league while women received K20, 000.
