PNG yet to ratify disabled rights

A senior government official admits Papua New Guineahas yet to ratifythe “Convention onthe Rights of Persons with Disabilities.”

This was made known by Acting Secretary for Community DevelopmentoAnna Solomon.

The United NationsConvention aims to ensure that persons with disabilities are integrated into mainstream society.
