PNG lacks workforce skills despite resource boom

Tradesmen Trainers say Papua New Guinea lacks sufficient numbers in its skilled workforce, despite rapid developments in the resource sector.

This was highlighted during the 2012 Apprentice and Trade Test Awards in Port Moresby.

There are now calls for more training institutions to be established, to up-skill our trades men and women.
