Pacific Foam and Colorpak Positive About Economy at Lae Trade Show

Pacific Foam and Colorpak Limited hosted their trade show night at the Lae International Hotel amidst uncertain economic times.

The show presented a new range of products  for the PNG market.

The company is based in Lae and Port Moresby. It was incorporated in 1978, originally manufacturing polyurethane foam products, has since increased its product range to include home and office furniture, injection and blow-molded plastics, and other plastics.

The company aims to furnish bedrooms to boardrooms.

The mini trade fair was to display the company’s ability to provide new products to for a dynamic consumer market.

Currently employing a workforce of 200, the firm is optimistic for expansion. It aims to employ 500 people and will do its part in trying to reduce unemployment numbers through these hard times in Lae city.

Currently companies from many industries in the country are downsizing operations due to exacerbated costs for running operations.
