British Singer, Leo Sayer, is performing this evening at Sir John Guise Indoor Stadium to help raise funds for Pari Village United Church’s new building.
The Singer arrived yesterday to a colourful reception.
Present to welcome him were Sports Minister Justin Tketchenko, Chairman of Pari Dubu Committee, Professor Sir Isi Kevau, and the Pari United Church Members.
Received by a colourful reception and beautiful choir from the Pari United Church Members, Leo Sayer was overwhelmed and expressed his passion to help the cause.
The singer, who was previously here to help fundraise for the building of a new hospital wing, said singing and religion brings people together, and he is privileged to be part of that.
Pari Dubu Committee Chairman, Professor Sir Isi Kevau, expressed gratitude on behalf of Pari United Church and said, they have been receiving a lot of support and they are thankful.
Leo Sayer will perform some of his greatest hits like; “I love you more than I can say”,“You make me feel like dancing”,“When I need you” and many more.
The event begins at 6pm.
