The last day before Christmas has been a massive day of sales for shops all across Port Moresby.
Shop owners are happy with goods bought by shoppers who came from as far as Central and Gulf Provinces.
It is a profitable time, which comes every year.
Retail assistants said as the shops opened for business hours this morning, shoppers flocked into stores for their last minute Christmas Shopping.
Shops everywhere saw long queues of customers and store goods flying off shelves.
Shop owners are happy with this festive rush which helps them on their balance sheet, to close off 2015.
Many shops in the nation’s capital will close during the Christmas day.
