Fifteen months of irregular shipping services between Middle Fly and Port Moresby has forced a businessman to call for remedial action.
Jack Mulake who is in Moresby for a business trip from Western Province, says so far five lives have been lost at seas on dinghies accidents.
He said the only operational passenger vessel; MV Danaya is no longer operational.
He has appealed to their Member of Parliament, Roy Biyama to look into the issue before more lives are lost.
