After undergoing a reconstruction and refurbishment exercise, the Taurama Aquatic Centre at Taurama Barracks in Port Moresby, was officially opened earlier this week.
The aquatic centre will now be used by our athletes in preparation for the 2015 Pacific Games, along with defence personnel and Taurama primary school children.
Next, we have a look at the Salvos Striders, who took part in the Gold Coast Airport Marathon in Brisbane, and their netball contingent who also took part in the Salvation Army Netball Federation Tournament, held in Adelaide, Australia.
In rugby league, PNGNRL will be rolling out their League for Life program in schools around Port Moresby.
