Health Secretary Pascoe Kase has responded to concerns over the expiry of its Pharmaceutical supply contractor, Borneo Pacific.
This comes as the country is faced with a shortage in medicines nationwide.
He said at the moment the hospital is liaising with local pharmaceutical suppliers to combat the shortage until it goes to Tender, with the CSTB to invite new bids from pharmaceutical companies.
In the meantime, he is calling on health center managers to manage their supplies pro-actively, to avoid running out completely.
