Church invest in parishioners business training

Reverend Laka Renagi said this was a gift for his people before he retires.

He called on churches inthe country to continue to supportthe government to provide services for the people.

Reverend Renagi said he tookthe initiative to hostthe program because it wasthe way forward to improver living standards inthe district.

The Start Your Own Business Program was solely funded bythe Church andthe community at a tune of Thirty-Two Thousand Kina.

The two weeks training was facilitated bythe Small Business Development Corporation.

The seventy six graduands each proudly walked downthe aisle intheir home made gowns and receivedtheir much deserved certificates from SBeC andtheInternational Labour Organization representatives.
