Hohola Knights in their maiden year in the Governor’s Cup have secured a spot in the Cup Grand Final set for tomorrow.
With the increase of youth engaging in petty crimes and alcohol and drug abuse, a handful of youths have started the team to steer away from partaking in such activities throughout the festive period.
Also from the suburb of Hohola, Freeway Bumpers will meet Hohola Knights for a home ground showdown at the Hohola EP Park.
From the 12 teams that battled in the Governor’s Cup semi-finals last week, six teams will go head to head for the Cup, Bowl and Plate finals.
Due to a late start to the semi-finals, all respective finals were postponed to Sunday, the 4th of January.
The annual tournament is a tool to steer youth from engaging in anti-social behaviour that is on the rise around the city.
