The much talked about 2015 Pacific Games Village is set to begin construction withthe ground breaking ceremony yesterday for a state ofthe art multi-million Kina construction to be carrlied out by Curtain Bethers
The last timPNG hostedthe Game in 1991, and this timPNG is aiming for the same result and that’s to winthe 2015 Pacific Games.
The games village will accommodate up to four thousand athletes from all overthe Pacific.
The state ofthe art facility will have one thousand one hundred rooms and will be used beyondthe games as well.
The Venues andInfrastructure Committee led by Andrew Porterstill have a mammoth task ahead ofthem, but to finally see construction getting offthe ground is promising.
