Charlie Simon starred yesterday for the Enga Mioks as they demolished the Mendi Muruks 34 points to 10 at the Johnson Siki Oval in Wabag.
At the Kalabond Oval in Kokopo, the Gurias beat visitors Port Moresby Vipers 18-12.
And in Port Moresby the Gulf Isapeas have come out victors edging out the TNA Lions in an impressive 22-18 at the Lloyd Robson Oval.
Isapeas have bounced back from several losses and are aiming to improve their Digicel Cup record.
Visitors TNA Lions trailed at half time and struggled to keep up with the Isapeas running in several points to stand at 16-10 at half time.
The win is much needed for the Gulf franchise and they can only improve from here.
