The brass key and accompanying plaque, which was presented to Cher in 1990, attracted 146 bids by the time the online auction closed on Thursday morning. The winning bid of $US95,900 was placed on April 23, well above the original listing price of just $US125 on April 18. There was no information given on the purchaser but Cher will ship them the plaque free of charge from Malibu, California.
