Students of Surinki Ltheran High School in Enga Province now have access to clean fresh water from tanks provided by Bank South Pacific.
The Bank’s Porgera agent installed two tanks, which will now servethe school’s administration and boarding students’ The assistance is part ofthe bank’s community program.
Due tothe absence of a stored water source, students’had been forced to walk long distances to nearby creeks. They had also been using pit toilets.
BeP initiated 33 community projects throughout Papua New Guineainthe areas of sports, education and environment.
