A Lutheran Church of a Local Level Government in Morobe Province has reached a decade of service.
Gobadik Lutheran Church of Nabak LLG in Nawaeb District celebrated its 10 year anniversary last Sunday.
The church was established in 1975, and was reconstructed in 1996 through the community’s initiative.
The congregation of the Church raised more than K30, 000 to construct the church in 1996.
Since then, the church has continued to serve its purpose through the support of the community.
Morobe Provincial Government assisted the church with funding during the ceremony. Governor Kelly Naru was present including Lae city Lord Mayor, Koim Trilu Leahy.
The funds will help the church leaders in carrying out their responsibilities.
