In the NCDVA Competition, while some teams have already secured a grand final spot from the first preliminary round last Saturday, others are yet to go through their semi-final matches.
In the second preliminary rounds this weekend, after beating PTPSL 3 -2 in the Men’s A grade Minor Semi Final, MJ Electrical U-Mi will meet Ela Motors, and the winner will take on Jamas in the grand final.
In the Men’s Premier Division, Edatec Scorpions are now set for the 2016 premier grand final after defeating Vanama 3 sets to one.
Meanwhile, Vailima beat Jamas and will play Vanama for the last grand final place this Saturday.
The Men’s A grade saw Jamas defeating Ela Motors 3-2 in the, major semifinal, while Jamas booked the first grand final seat.
And in the Women’s Premier, PTPSL Telikom managed to hold off Ela Motors 3 sets to 2 in the major semifinal, and is on standby for the grand final.
Vailima eliminated Edatec Scorpions 3-2 in the women’s premier sudden death match. While, Vailima will meet Ela Motors in the second preliminary final this Saturday.
And in the Women’s A grade, PTPSL Telikom booked the first grand final spot when they defeated MJ Electrical U-Mi yet 3-1. Vailima eliminated Jamas 3-2 in the women’s A grade do-or-die clash.
And this weekend, Vailima will face MJ Electrical U-Mi Yet for the remaining place in the season’s decider.
The Grand Final is just two weeks away.
