Teams Set for Rugby World Cup Biggest Clash

by Lorraine Genia – EM TV Sports, Port Moresby

This weekend will see the biggest pool game in the history of the World Cup take place at Twickenham Stadium in London, as the Australian Wallabies take on the host’s England.

While the Aussies have been tipped as favourites over England, Coach Michael Cheika has named an unchanged team from the match against Fiji.

Will Genia and Bernard Foley return to the halves, while Michael Hooper and David Pocock have been named as the dynamic duo in the forwards.

The English Roses however, have it tough having won only one game against Fiji 35-11 and losing a crucial game to Wales by just one penalty goal.

The last time England beat Australia was last year in their European tour and England’s Number eight, Ben Morgan, has said the team will be drawing a lot from that victory for this weekend.

English coach Stuart Lancastar has named Jonathan Joseph at number 13 and Ben Morgan at number eight in the starting line-up, while Brad Barritt moves to inside center, and Sam Burgess sidelined on the bench.

The match which kicks off at 5am PNG time on Sunday will be a make or break game for the English side, having lost a crucial game against Wales last week which has put their World Cup campaign in doubt.
