Telikom Clean IT Launched

ICT has played a vital role in enhancing students’learning in recent years.

Last weekthe Telikom Foundation launched an online Library as part of its “Clean It” program. The program enables students’to use online library for academic work.

It is a relatively project that seeks to align students’learning with ICT.

It’s a project initiated by Telikom Foundation, an incorporated body that exist underthe mther company, TelikoPNG.

The roll out program finally reached Lae city whenthe Telikom Foundation team launched as internet café at Besu Secondary as part of its ITDepartment.

The internet surfing environment creates ideal learning environment to produce quality outcomes expected oftheir academic work.

The Telikom foundation has become an important ICT partner with schools throughoutthe country.

The main concern for introducingthe use of ICT in schools is to enable affective student academic research and academic resources.

ICT has played a vital role in enhancing students’learning. It may have benefitedthe mere portion of students’in urban schools. Betthere is still a concern, about ninety per cent oPNG’schools are yet to be part of ICT wealth.

That has become onethe main concern ofthe national government and ther stakeholders
