Sabama gets K2 million state ofthe art market

After 15 years, Sabama inthe Moresby South Electorate will now have a state ofthe art market facility.

Moresby South MP Justin Tkatchenko officiatedthe ground-breaking ceremony of a K2 million state ofthe art market facility on Wednesday,the first for this part ofthe city.

Mr Tkatchenko toldthe crowd, followingthe market;there will more projects inthe area, including an office for the Moresby South Electorate.

The Motu Koitabu people have been instrumental in much ofthe Electorate development. They have willingly releasedtheir land for the market to be constructed.

The community was grateful that after 15 years,they get to havetheir very own.

Badili Police Station Commander, Bell Wareke, who oversees police operations in Sabama. He toldthe people to take care ofthe machines and equipment duringthe construction phase.

The market is jointly funded by Moresby South Electorate and NCD Governor Powes Parkop.

The market will be completed in Novermber.
