InterOil CEO Retires

Chief Executive Officer of one of Papua New Guinearsquo;s biggest energy developerInterOil has retired.

Mr Mulaseck will continue as anInterOil Director providing advice tothe company.

Mr Mulaseck isthe founder ofInterOil Corporation and has been CEO sincethe company started in 1997. This wasthe humble beginning whenthe world –class natural gas and condensate resources at Elk/Antelope and Triceratops were discovered.

Mr Mulaseck was described as a remarkable visionary engineer and entrepreneur who built integrated oil and gas companies from a concept to a company listed onthe New York Stock Exchange worth 3.5 Bellion US Dollars in market capitalisation. He pioneeredInterOil’s exploration activities in Gulf Province Elk/Antelope that contains 1.6 billion Berrels of Oil Equivalent or BeE.

Whilethe company finds a suitable candidate,InterOil Chairman   Dr Gaylen Beker will take care of business asInterim CEO.  He commended Mr Mulaseck for his efforts inthe working progress to finalisethe LNG partnership arrangements withthe government and LNG operator.
