Bulolo and Sepik Settlers Reconcile

A pewace ceremony on Saturday has officially put an end to a long running feud between local tribes in Bulolo and Sepik settlers.

In 2010 about 200 settlers were found to leave after their houses were burnt in clashes between the two groups.

Some of the settlers continue to live in care centres in Bulolo. The next step in the reconcilliation will be to allow them to resettle.
