Coffee growers urged to sell in groups

Coffee growers in the highlands have been encouraged to form groups to market their coffee to receive higher prices.

CEO of the Coffee Industry Corporation Limited Navi Anis gave growers the concept saying, as individuals they did not weight.

As a group they will ensure coffee quality as well as better returns.

Coffee is grown mostly in the highlands with eastern and western highlands as leaders.

It is a five to six hundred million kina (K500-600m) industry that forms the basis of the economy.
