NICTA’s deadline to deactivate all unregistered SIM cards by tomorrow has been described as a logistical nightmare, by NCD Governor, Powes Parkop.
Governor Parkop says this decision doesn’t account for the bulk of the population in rural areas.

And yesterday the Catholic Bishops Conference of Paua New Guinea and Solomon Islands called for NICTA to extend the SIM registration deadline.
