2018 Miss PNG Pacific Island Pageant Contestants visit Hanuabada Village

The Five contestants in the 2018 Miss PNG Pacific Islands Pageant today (02 November, 2018) visited the Hanuabada to experience a cultural setting.

Accompanying the contestants was Patron of the Miss PNG Pacific Islands Pageant Linda Babao-O’Neill.

Looking elegant and confident, the 5 Miss Pacific Islands Pageant Contestants 2018 where in Hanuabada for a cultural experience.

Whilst there, contestants took time to ask questions, among which were questions on how the houses are built on stilts, on water.

Joining the competitors on the tour of the village was Miss PNG Pacific Islands Pageant Patron, Linda Babao-O’Neill.

After the meet and great, the contestants where then driven to the local clinic, where the second round of polio vaccination exercise was being administered.

There, the team had a look around in the clinic, and spoke with local medical staff.

MPIP Chairperson Molly O’rourke thanked the leaders of Hanuabada for welcoming the contestants into the village.

The Miss PNG Pacific Islands Pageant 2018 winner will be announced and crowned tomorrow with the ceremony to take place at Hilton hotel tomorrow evening.
