Youth Chased and Hacked to Dealth

Abaxson Jamaika, a 25 year old from Kainantu inthe Eastern Highlands province was chased and hacked to death at Sabama in Port Moresby overthe weekend.

 

It was alleged that Abaxson Jamaika was killed following a drunken brawl.

It was alleged thatthe suspect’s relatives assuredthe grieving family that he would be brought to police but it was later learnt that he escaped to his home province.

 

“We wantthe culprit or so called murderer to surrender himself to Wabag Police,” said Jamaika Abaga, victim’s fther.
 

The body ofthe 25 year old was flown last weekend to his homeland Kainantu inthe Eastern Highlands.

 

The grieving fther has called on Engan lLeadersand business houses to assist police to apprehendthe suspectothreatening all will not be well with highlands highway users from that province if nothing eventuated soon.

 

“We wantthe Enga police andthe Engan community to have to put intheir effort and resources to hunt this murderer down and deliver him tothe law&hellipthen wethe family will talk about peace and negotiations later,” said Abaga.

“We had enough of brutality, willful murder, chopping human beings like pigs and dogs andthey are outthere walking freely,” Abaga said.

“Enough is enough…no compensation will bring my son back,” he said.
 

He said he had served in Enga province for 25 years as District Administrator andthe murder of his first son by a suspect from that province was quite painful to digest.
