Duke and Duchess of Cambridge emerged fromthe St Mary’s Hospital to show offtheir new baby boy tothe world for the first time.
Well-wishers screamed and cheered. Royal supporters hadtheir hands full with mobile phones, cameras and tablets to capturethe moment.
The couple appeared relaxed beforethe world’s press, many of whom had been waiting outsidethe hospital for three weeks.
It'’s believedthe third-in-line tothe British throne was a week overdue andthe Duke made light of that on Tuesday.
“I'll remind him of his tardiness when he'’s a bit older because I know how long you've all been sat out here,” he said.
Kate told reporter’s it was an emotional and special time.
“I think any parent will probably know what this feeling feels like,”the Duchess said.
Nowthe world has caught its first glimpse ofthe royal baby,the question on everyone'’s lips is what he'll be called.
“We're still working on a name. We will have that as soon as we can,” Prince William said.
