Papua New Guinea’s Under-Twenty Women footballers will undergo a selection process camp in NSI, Goroka, this month.
The twenty eight players include ten players who were part of the senior side that played New Zealand in the first leg of the Olympic Qualifiers.
At a press conference on January 28, the PNGFA U20 Women’s coach, Lisa Cole, highlighted the structure and preparations going towards the soccer world cup campaign.
Cole spoke on how the players can improve their performance, and on working at set pieces of the players.
Cole is a youth coach from USA and believes this is a great opportunity for her to represent another country to play host to the world cup.
In order for a better performance for the PNG U20 players, they need to play 25 games this year.
A game plan has been outlined for domestic and international games, which the players will attend.
