Load shedding will no longer be an issue for the people of East Sepik Province.
PNG Power Limited has installed four new Aggreko generators to boost the generation capacity of Wewak town.
For the past years, Wewak has been experiencing load shedding causing black outs every two hours daily.
Work is currently underway with Wewak’s South Seas Tuna factory to hook up onto PPL’s network, as they have been powering Wewak for the last couple of years.
