Port Moresby was recently visited by two Fighter Jets from the Royal Australian Air force.
They performed a fly-by as part of security operations leading to the 2018 APEC Summit.
The flight was led by Flight Lt. James Clark who flew the FA 18 single carrier.
Flying side by side they flew in with a bang as a part of the 10th APEC transport ministers meeting and a show of security strength during the 10th APEC Leaders’ Summit.
The Royal Australian Air force Commodore Phil Gordon was also on the flight in and gave a brief detail on the FA 18 Hornets.
EMTV News spoke to the lead fighter jet pilot, who said it was his first time to actually land in PNG.
The 28-year-old Flight Lt. James Clark explained how he joined the Royal Australian air force.
The FA 18 hornets also did an air show along Ela Beach past the construction of the APEC House.
