Management from the University of Goroka (UOG) has scheduled visits to meet provincial administrations, parents and students.
The visit is purposely to brief stakeholders on the mediation process the university plans to put in place. The visitation to provinces will begin with Eastern Highlands tomorrow, Simbu and Jiwaka on Wednesday, followed by a joint meeting with Western, Southern, Hela and Enga provinces in Mt Hagen on Thursday.
In a statement received by EMTV News, UOG Vice Chancellor, Dr. Musawe Sinabare, says students will be advised of a return to campus by July 11, 2016.
The Vice Chancellor said university management has taken steps for normalcy to return the campus. This also sees the establishment of an independent investigation commission into the recent student clash, the formation of a reconciliation committee, zero tolerance to alcohol on campus, police to be present at campus and for students to return to classes.
Apart from these, students will also be receiving pastoral and counseling sessions at the campus upon returning.
A combined reconciliation ceremony among the different parties is expected next week at the campus after management visits all provinces.
