The University of Technology Council wants the Prime Minister Peter O'Neill to have a round-the-table discussion with them and receive evidence of their decision to terminate the Vice Chancellor Dr Albert Schram.
They also challenged the Minister for High Education David Arore and the Director General Prof David Kavanamur to show cause as to why Dr Schram's credentials should not be questioned by the Council.
