The Southern Highlands Provincial Assembly has endorsed the creation of two new Local Level Governments in the province.
The Assembly met recently and proposed for Upper Nipa LLG in the Nip Kutubu District and Sugu Valley LLG in the Kagua Erave District.
This follows lengthy discussions of increased population and scarce service delivery into the two areas.
Governor Powi said the assembly unanimously agreed and endorsed with documentation to be presented to the Inter Government Relations Department.
