Top 40 VF Contestants Compete for Top 15 spot in Season 4

After the successful auditions in five of the main towns of the four regions of Papua New Guinea (PNG), EMTV’s Vocal Fusion had finally found 40 best contestants from around the country to contest in its Season 4 Competition.

The Vocal Fusion Season 4 auditions started early in July at Wewak, Madang, Kokopo and Mt Hagen and ended later in August in Port Moresby.

The outcome of the auditions was spectacular as Vocal Fusion took 40 competitive contestants from around the country among hundreds of entertaining auditions, to further compete for the top 15 positions in Port Moresby in September’s final cuts.

From these top 40 contestants:  20 are from Port Moresby audition, 10 from Lae and the other 5 each are from Wewak, Kokopo and Mt Hagen auditions respectively.

The interesting team comprises of 16 females and 24 males who will be battling for the top 15 posts in Port Moresby’s final cut auditions.

During the auditions, these successful contestants had won themselves a golden ticket each and were flown by Vocal Fusion’s Official Carrier, PNG Air, to Port Moresby where they are currently undergoing vocal training with Vocal Fusion’s certified vocal coach and mentor, Dorothy Numiamapule.

The contestants are expected deliver their best to Vocal Fusion Judges and the country.

The Venue

A new host presents to PNG, for EMTV’s Vocal Fusion Season 4, Jacob Illave, who was EMTV’s Vocal Fusion Season 1 Winner. Jacob is accompanied by Judges Eli Webb, Graham Osborne, Jagarizzar and guest Judge Peter Bogembo, from PNG’s Famous Gospel P2UIF Band, as contestants take on the stage.

Fans from all around the cities are expected to turn up in numbers to cheer on in support of their favourite contestants.
