After facing their first hurdle – the non-availability of the IPA grounds to host Port Moresby matches last weekend – the Telikom National Soccer League have swapped round two fixtures with round four fixtures to see the competition through.
Telikom National Soccer League Competition Manager, Simon Koima, remains adamant that the competition must continue.
He and his team are working with stakeholders, sponsors and franchises to ensure that games are held every weekend.
Embarking on creating a friendly-family culture and environment, matches are expected to be played in a conducive environment.
Koima ensures that NSL will not tolerate any consumption of alcohol by supporters or players at the grounds.
The season opener in Lae saw FC Port Moresby and Lae City Dwellers lock horns on a draw, and put the first points on the board.
Laiwaden Oval in Madang will see the return of NSL in the province, when Madang FC takes on Admiralty.
