Teenagers to Travel to Bahamas for Youth Commonwealth Games

Seventeen year old Tony Gima and fifteen year old Damian Aisi said training preparations are going well, under the guidance of Coaches Moa Meha and Kila Rupa.

They will be heading to the Bahamas, competing in this year’s Youth Commonwealth Games in beach volleyball.

Both teens were overwhelmed when they heard the news that they had been selected for Team PNG.

In the next couple of weeks, training will continue as normal for the two athletes, before they depart for Bahamas on the 15th of July.

This will be their first debut performance overseas under team PNG to representing the country.
